The New Dynasty

It was a hot summer day; the Ronins and Robyn were at the beach enjoying the summer. None of them knew that their fun was about to come to an end. High in the sky, up above no one heard the silent laugh of Sadira, the new ruler of the Dynasty.
"Mistress?" A voice said out of the darkness.
"Yes," Sadira said, irritated as she turned around.
Bacchus the Warlord of Torture stood silently in the middle of the room trembling as Sadira turned her fiery red eyes upon him.
"We've discovered that Ryo of the Wildfire, the leader of the Ronin Warriors, holds the Armor of Inferno." Bacchus said.
"Good," Sadira said.
"I think it's time to pay the Ronin Warriors a little visit," Sadira said.
"That sounds like an excellent plan," Bacchus said, backing out of the room.
Once Bacchus was gone, Sadira turned back around to the view screen where she watched the Ronins enjoying their time at the beach. Smiling she turned off the view screen and began to transform. Sadira's long black hair shortened and lighted till it was a turquoise color. Her features softened to that of a young 17-year-old girl. Her black clothes lengthened and formed into blue jeans then shortened to form a black tee shirt. Sadira looked into her mirror; she looked just like a normal teenage girl except the fact she still had blood-red eyes. With the blink of her eyes the blood red turned into a vivid green.
With one last laugh Sadira disappeared. With a flash of light Sadira appeared on the Earth not far from the place where the Ronins were. As Sadira walked up the beach past the Ronin Warriors, Kento, and Rowen stopped burying Sage in the sand and helped him to his feet. Ryo and Cye fell off their surfboards and waded back to the shore where the others were gathered.
"Do you feel that?" Ryo asked the other guys.
"It's the same feeling I had when Talpa was around." Cye said. "Like my mind was being smothered by evil and darkness."
"You don't think . . ." Sage said
"No, it's not possible, . . . is it?" Cye said.
"Hey, calm down, we destroyed Talpa," Rowen said.
"Here comes Robyn, so let's just drop it," Ryo said.
"Hey, what's going on?" Robyn asked.
"Nothing!" Ryo said quickly heading back out to the sea with his surfboard.
The others quieted down, but still looked a little wary. None of them noticed the turquoise haired girl walking behind them as Kento and Rowen went back to burying Sage. Sadira moved unnoticed behind Cye. As she got closer to him a pale blue light flowed out of her dolphin pendent and into Cye's body. Sadira smiled and moved away from him. A few minutes later Cye fell off his surfboard gasping for his breath. Ryo ran over to him with Robyn right behind him. With Robyn's help, Ryo managed to drag Cye out of the wave and up onto the beach. Ryo put his hand on Cye's forehead to check for a fever. Cye's head felt like it was on fire.
"Hey, what happened?" Ryo asked Cye.
"I don't know," Cye said. "I suddenly couldn't seem to breathe."
"Just lay down at rest a bit," Ryo said. "I'll be back in a few minutes,"
"I'll stay here with Cye," Robyn said.
"Okay," Ryo said walking off to get the other Ronins who had given up with Sage and were now playing in the waves farther down the beach.
Sighing, Cye laid his head wearily down on the ground. Within minutes Cye was fast asleep. Robyn had sat down beside of Cye and covered him up with a blanket.
What's wrong with you? Robyn thought. You were fine a few minutes ago. Robyn was watching Cye sleep when a shadow fell over her. Robyn looked up to see a turquoise haired girl standing over her. Robyn felt Cye moving beside her and looked down at him. Cye was shriving so much that Robyn could feel the ground vibrating. Robyn pulled Cye closer to her and wrapped the blanket tighter around him. Robyn turned away from Cye when she felt someone tapping her on the shoulder.
"Who are you?" Robyn asked the turquoise haired girl
"My name's Sadira," she said. "It looks like your friend could use some help."
"He's fine," Robyn said turning back to Cye.
Not liking how pale Cye's face had become; Robyn bent down to take his temperature again. Cye's forehead still felt like it was on fire. Cye unconsciously moved his hand up and into Robyn's and began trying to get up. Robyn gently laid Cye back down again. Robyn jerked back as she felt Sadira touch her shoulder again. Suddenly, Robyn felt a sense of evil coming from Sadira. I've got to get Cye out of here. Robyn thought. But how?
The other Ronins were now coming up the beach towards Cye, Robyn, and Sadira. Suddenly, Sage stopped cold in his tracks.
"What'd ya stop for?" Rowen asked him.
"Something's wrong," Sage said. "I suddenly feel sick to my stomach."
"Maybe it's something you ate," Kento suggested.
"I haven't eaten anything since breakfast," Sage said.
"I think it's catching," Ryo said. "I feel sick too."
"I seem to feel sicker the closer I get to her," Sage said pointing to Sadira.
"You're right, but we've got to get Cye and Robyn away from there."
Within a minute the rest of the Ronins were complain of being sick to their stomachs and having sever headaches. But, they weren't about to leave Cye and Robyn alone with Sadira. Robyn looked at Ryo with relief in her eyes as he came up the hill towards her.
"Are you all right?" Ryo asked Robyn.
"Yes," Robyn said.
Ryo suddenly felt faint as he realized that Sadira was right behind him. Ryo turned around and came face to face with his new enemy.
"Hello, my name's Sadira." She said.
Seeing that Ryo was struggling to stay conscious, Robyn stepped in-between Sadira and Ryo.
"We've got to go now," Robyn said.
"Oh," Sadira said.
Kento walked over and picked Cye's light form off the ground. Sage looped one of Ryo's arms around his neck. Rowen walked behind them with Robyn as the group headed to Mia's jeep.
As soon as they had left the beach, the Ronins all began to recovery except for Cye. Twenty minutes later the group arrived at Mia's house. Cye was immediately put to bed. He was weaker now than he had been earlier and had a very high fever. Mia demanded to know what had happened; they had only been gone thirty minutes. Rowen and Sage tried to explain while Robyn and Kento helped put Cye and Ryo to bed.

It had been two weeks since the Ronins had met Sadira, and Cye was still no better. Cye had become so weak that he needed to use a wheelchair to get around, but lately he had never even gotten out of bed. Robyn rubbed her eyes tiredly; she hadn't gotten any sleep last night.
Unable to get to sleep because of the sunlight shining through her window, she stumbled down to the kitchen to get something to eat. No one else in the house had gotten any sleep either both on account of Cye's wheezing and coughing. As Robyn stumbled into the kitchen, she noticed that the kitchen was cold.
What time is it anyway? Robyn thought.
Robyn walked over to look at the clock on the wall and saw that it was after eight. It was strange because normally Ryo, Kento, Mia, and Sage would have been up even Rowen. Suddenly, Robyn sensed that someone was behind her. She swung around expecting to see one of the guys or Mia, but she came face to face with Sadira.
"What are you doing here?" Robyn asked her.
"You'll find out soon enough," Sadira said and grabbed Robyn.
Robyn struggled trying to get free, but Sadira was about twenty times stronger than she was. Just then everything around Robyn went black. Sadira laughed looking down at Robyn. The Ronins would definitely come now trying to save their friend. The Inferno Armor would soon belong to her. Robyn awoke in a small damp cell . . .

Meanwhile, the Ronins and Mia were now awake and eating breakfast.
"Hey, where's Robyn?" Ryo asked.
"I knocked on her door earlier, but she didn't answer," Kento said.
"I'll go check her room," Mia offered.
A few minutes later Mia came back downstairs reporting that Robyn wasn't in her room. Getting worried the group spread out to search for Robyn. An hour later they gathered in the living room, none of them had found Robyn.
"I've guess someone has to tell Cye," Ryo said.
All the eyes in the room turned on Ryo and Kento. Sighing they got up to go tell Cye the news. A few minutes later Cye's outraged cry could be heard coming from upstairs.
"WHAT!" Cye yelled struggling to sit up in bed, despite being in pain.
"Hey, take it easy!" Kento said catching Cye before he fell back.
"Don't worry we'll find Robyn." Ryo said watching Kento lay Cye back down in the bed.
"I know where she is, " Cye gasped.
"Where?" Ryo said.
"Sadira's got her," Cye said.
"How do you know that Cye?" Ryo asked him.
"I've been having these dreams," Cye said.
"What kind of dreams?" Ryo asked.
"I keep seeing Sadira," Cye said. "In the last one I saw Sadira torturing someone. It was too dark to tell whom."
"Robyn! Let's go!" Ryo said.
"I want to come with you," Cye said.
"Not this time, Cye," Ryo said. "You're not strong enough yet,"
There was silence as Ryo and Kento walked out the door.
"Ryo?" Cye said weakly.
"Yeah, Cye?" Ryo said turning around.
"Watch out for Sadira's pendent," Cye said.
Ryo's eyes widened as he remembered seeing a small dolphin shaped pendent around Sadira's neck. By the time Ryo and Kento had told the rest of the team and were ready to leave it was dark outside.
After the Ronins had left Mia made sure that Cye was okay and then went into the city to get Cye his pain medication. Cye quietly listened to his friend's leave before falling out of bed.

When the Ronins arrived at the cave Cye had told them about, the feeling of nausea that they had when first encountering Sadira had come back. Sadira laughed as she watched the Ronins enter the cave from her view screen. The visions Sadira had planted into Cye's mind were working perfectly. Sadira pushed a small, round button on her pendent, and Bacchus suddenly appeared.
"Mistress?" Bacchus said.
Pointing to the Ronin Warriors images on her view screen, Sadira said "destroy them and bring their armor to me."
"Yes, Mistress," Bacchus said. "They shall be destroyed."
Suddenly, a red and black sub-armor formed around Bacchus. Then the red and black armor of the Warlord of Torture formed over the sub-armor. Bacchus drew his Rapier from its case and disappeared.
*****

The Ronin Warriors cautiously walked further away from the entrance and deeper into the cave. Their flashlights only shone a little light against the immense darkness. Unknown to the Ronins, Bacchus lurked in the shadows waiting for the right time to strike.
"What's that?" Sage asked.
"Huh?" Ryo said.
"There's something over there in the corner." Sage said.
The whole group swung their flashlights in the direction that Sage had indicated. Suddenly, Bacchus stepped out of the shadows. Sensing the evil coming from Bacchus, the Ronins grabbed their armor-orbs out of their pockets. Their clothes were ripped to sheds as the sub-armor formed over the Ronins bodies. Before the Ronins knew what was happening, Bacchus was attacking them with so much force it was all that the Ronins could do to avoid being slashed to ribbons.
"ARMOR OF WILDFIRE TAO JI!"
"ARMOR OF HARDROCK TAO GI!"
"ARMOR OF HALO TAO CHI!"
"ARMOR OF STRATA TAO INOCHI!"

Meanwhile, Mia had just returned home. When she had walked upstairs to give Cye his medicine she found him gone. Mia was walking along the house thinking that Cye had gotten up and had fallen, when she heard her jeep start. Cye? Mia thought running downstairs. Mia got to the door just in time to see her red jeep speeding down the road.
*****

Bacchus stepped back as a bright light engulfed the warriors. When the light died away the warriors stood there with their full armor on. They drew their weapons and began attacking Bacchus.
"Who are you?" Ryo said.
"I am Bacchus the Warlord of Torture." Bacchus said.
"ICEFIRE SLASH!" Bacchus yelled.
*****

The Ronins yelled as a bright red fire came shooting out of Bacchus' rapier. Everything the fire touched was instantly frozen in red ice. Ryo groaned and looked over at his friends, they were all frozen to the ground. Knowing that they had to get out of there before Bacchus decided to finish killing them, Ryo began concentrating. Virtue.
Suddenly, Ryo's kanji appeared on his forehead glowing brightly. While making sure that he had killed the Ronin Warriors Bacchus noticed that one of them was beginning to glow brightly. Bacchus jumped back as the ice that was surrounding Ryo melted. Ryo jumped up into the air his katanas crossed in front of him.
"FLARE UP NOW!" Ryo yelled putting the bottom of his swords together.
Bacchus was knocked unconscious from the blast. Ryo quickly began to melt the ice that surrounded his friends with his swords. Bacchus groaned just as Ryo had freed everyone.
"Go find Robyn," Sage told Ryo. "We'll hold Bacchus off."
"Right," Ryo said.
Ryo ran through the twists and turns of the narrow cavern until he came into a large room. Ryo quickly skidded to a stop when he caught site of Sadira standing in the middle of the room.
"Well, we met again, Ronin Warrior," Sadira said.
"Sadira," Ryo said, "What have you done with Robyn?"
"Is this your Robyn?" Sadira asked as a view screen appeared in front of Ryo.
Suddenly the view screen showed Ryo images of the cavern. On the view screen Ryo saw Cye trying to free Robyn from the chains that bound her. Suddenly, Bacchus appeared in the cell where Cye was frantically trying to free Robyn from the chains that bound her. Bacchus quietly sneaked up behind Cye and grabbed him. Cye struggled to get free, but he was too weak.
A few minutes later Robyn watched in grief-stricken horror as Cye was tortured. Cye screamed as the acid slowly continued eating through his armor. Through his tears, Cye saw Robyn chained up a few feet away crying, being forced to watch Cye slowly die. Cye screamed louder as the acid began eating at his legs.
Cye knew that it was only a matter of time before he died, and there was only one thing he had to do. Cye looked at Robyn one more time. She was the last hope the Ronin Warriors had of destroying Sadira. Suddenly, Cye's armor began to glow a bright light blue, and then it disappeared along with Cye's sub-armor. The armor reappeared on Robyn. Robyn stared down at herself in shock before lifting her gaze back to Cye.
I love you, Robyn, Cye thought as the acid devoured him.
Laughing, Bacchus disappeared.
"NOOOOOO!" Robyn yelled in agony.
Suddenly, the view screen went blank. Ryo turned his now narrowed blue eyes at Sadira.
"You will pay for that," He said his voice low and dangerous.
Suddenly, Ryo lunged at Sadira...

Meanwhile, Bacchus stared down at the three unconscious warriors in front of him. It had been easy to defeat them. Even with their combined strength, the Ronins were no match for Bacchus' strength. A red light formed around Bacchus' fist then surrounded the warriors. The three Ronin Warriors floated in the air and then disappeared. Suddely, Bacchus heard a noise behind him. When he turned around he saw Cye standing behind him.
How is that possible? Bacchus thought looking over to the wall where he had chained Cye up.
The chains had been ripped off of the wall.
"SUPER WAVE SMASHER!" Cye yelled, pointing his Yari at Bacchus.
The force of the blast was so strong that it destroyed Bacchus on the spot. Hearing the sounds of fighting coming from the cavern, Cye began heading in that direction.

Meanwhile, Robyn had broken free of her chains and began looking for a way out of the cave. Robyn arrived in the cavern just in time to see Ryo fighting Sadira. Robyn ducked behind a rock, but it was too late Sadira had already seen her. Sadira knocked Ryo unconscious then went after Robyn. Robyn screamed in horror and began running.
Suddenly, Robyn tripped and fell. Sadria lifted Robyn to her feet, her rapier pressed against her neck. Suddenly, the cavern wall began to vibrate. Just then three beams of light shown through the wall. The beams of light came to rest on the floor of the cavern behind Sadira and Robyn. Kento, Sage, and Rowen appeared out of the light.
Sage, Kento, and Rowen went to fight Sadira while Ryo went to help Robyn. Suddenly, the dolphin pendent around Sadira's neck began to glow and a blue beam of light shot from the pendant and at the Ronins. The force of the blast knocked Kento, Sage, Rowen, and Ryo through the cavern wall with so much force that they kept on going right through the cavern. Sadira grabbed Robyn again and stood up.
It didn't matter what it took; Sadira was determined going to get the Inferno Armor even if that meant she was going to have to kill everyone on the planet starting with Robyn.
"Ryo!" Robyn screamed.
"SUPER WAVE SMASHER!"
Robyn ducked out of Sadira's grasp as the sure kill hit her. Sadira screamed as she was knocked through the other wall. As the smoke cleared Cye walked into the room.
"Cye?" Robyn said in surprise as the armored figure came closer to her. "But you're..."
"Robyn," Cye said softly.
Robyn cried out as Cye suddenly began falling towards her. Robyn struggled to hold Cye's body up but she simply didn't have the strength. Suddenly a strong armored hand pulled Cye away from Robyn. She looked up to see Ryo standing in front of her.
"Come on," Ryo said. "Let's get out of here,"
Ryo looped Cye's arm around his neck while Rowen picked up Robyn and they began heading back through the passageway that lead out of the cave, where the other Ronins were waiting. Tired and beaten the Ronins along with Robyn returned to Mia's house. Cye was put back to bed as well as Robyn and the rest of the warriors who where still recovering from Sadira's blast.
